Baseball Boys

We went to our nephew's baseball game a couple of days ago. It was freezing cold, but it was fun to watch Kadan play and to support him. When we got home Scott pulled out the bat and ball and told Austin that it was time to practice. He would swing the bat and miss the ball by quite a way, throw the bat down, and run to his first base. It was really funny how into it they were after attending the baseball game. They all looked cute in their baseball hats!

True Brotherly Love

Austin really loves to play with his brother and share with him. He will come out and see Koen sitting in his bouncer or on the couch and share his blanket with him. It really is quite cute!

Other times he thinks he is playing, but it ends up being a little scary. I was on the phone for about 2 minutes yesterday and came back over where Koen was laying and Austin had put this stool on top of Koen.

The crazy thing was that he got it perfectly on him without squishing his arms or legs. Koen didn't cry or anything, so he must have been some what careful. But don't worry - we were upset, but did need to take a second to take a picture of how Austin really treats his brother when we aren't around.

Fun With Cousins

Last night the whole family got together because Cameron made a surprise visit home. It was fun to have him here and to get together as a family. We did miss Brett, Jordan, Cami, and Lucy and wish they could have been there. The cousins have so much fun when they are all together.

As you can tell - they all love to be goof balls and you can only guess where they all get that from! :)

Koen has started laughing recently. He has been sick for so long, that we don't get him to laugh too often (although he has been pretty happy). He is still sick, but we get him to laugh more and more everyday. Austin can get him to laugh really good.

"P U"

Austin learned this word a couple of days ago and I really don't know where, but his face is to die for when he says it. I was changing Koen's diaper yesterday and he walked over and said, "P U". Annie got a kick out of it, so we got some footage.

Many Faces

These are the many faces of the one and only Austin Ulrich. He definitely gets the funny faces from his dad :) Austin loves to play around and be a goof ball, just like his dad. In fact, they have been having competitions and Scott is getting jealous because Austin always seems to win. It gets a little crazy when Scott and Austin get going. You can only imagine how it will be when Koen is old enough to play with them. WATCH OUT!!!

Spring Break 2008 in Cedar City/St. George, UT

On Thursday of Scott's spring break, we woke up to snow and decided that we wanted to go somewhere warm for the weekend. So, Thursday night we packed up our stuff and Friday we hit the road. It is supposed to be a 6 hour drive, but with the two boys it ended up taking us 9 hours. We had to make many stops. Friday night we had dinner and hung out at the hotel. Saturday morning we woke up and Scott went golfing and yes, he ended up getting a little sunburn. We then had lunch and drove down to St. George and had no idea what we were going to do. We ended up going to the Fiesta Fun Center and let Austin play on the soft play and then we all went outside and enjoyed the go-carts. It was just nice to be outside in warm weather and enjoy some family time. Sunday we drove home and it took us 7 hours instead of 9. That was definitely a lot better. The boys did really well in the car. We had a great time and was really sad to see Scott have to go back to school.
