20 Questions???

I saw this quiz on Erin and Tia's blogs and thought it would be fun to see what Austin thinks of me. It was really funny to try and get him to understand some of the questions. But here are his answers:

1 - What is something mom always says to you? You say "no"

2 - What makes mom happy? When I don't say "no" to my mom

3 - What makes mom sad? When I pee in my pants

4 - How does your mom make you laugh? You tickle me

5 - What was your mom like as a child? You get baptized

6 - How old is your mom? 14

7 - How tall is your mom? Taller

8 - What is her favorite thing to do? Play a Mickey Mouse Game

9 - What does your mom do when you're not around? On the puter (a.k.a. computer)

10 - If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? Money and you put it in the mud (I have no idea where he got that from)

11 - What is your mom really good at? Going potty

12 - What is your mom not very good at? Soccer

13 - What does your mom do for her job? My friend's house

14 - What is your mom's favorite food? Chicken nuggets

15 - What makes you proud of your mom? Get me some food

16 - If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be? Um . . . chicken nugget (can you guess what was on his mind?)

17 - What do you and your mom do together? Play a game

18 - How are you and your mom the same? Color

19 - How are you and your mom different? I'm a boy and you're a girl

20 - How do you know your mom loves you? You give me a hug

21 - What does your mom like most about your dad? Big muscles

22 - Where is your mom's favorite place to go? You go to the temple

It was really funny to see what he had to say about me and what I do and don't do that leaves an impression on him. I might have to be a little bit more careful about some of the things I do and say I guess. He is great though and such a joy to have in our family!

Girl's Getaway!!!

This past weekend, the Ulrich girls and I went on a little girl's getaway to Boise to do some shopping. It was a great time and we had some excellent laughs.

We started the weekend off with a stop in Twin Falls to go to the newly dedicated temple. It was beautiful and a very neat experience for me since I have only done sessions in 2 different temples. It was a great way to start off the weekend.

Mom Ulrich and her girls in front of the temple. Sorry we kind of ditched you, Leisja, while we did the session. Thanks for watching Brielle though. You are a good sport.

Me in front of the temple.

That night we stayed in a hotel in Boise and had a great time painting our toe nails and laughing some more. Even little Brielle got her nails done. It was super cute. Can you guess who's is who's?
The next day we went to the Boise Outlet Mall and this is Leisja and I before the shopping began.
Look at the success we had. The van was definitely loaded to the max.
Our hotel was just down the street from the Boise Temple. It would have been neat if we could have done a session there too, but there is only so much you can do when you time is limited. Thanks for a great weekend girls and the great laughs. And thanks Scott for letting me have some girl time.

Austin . . . our little photographer

So, Koen has been needing a trim around his ears for quite some time now and so I finally braved it. I couldn't really classify it as his 1st hair cut since I just did around his ears, but I wanted to take some pictures of the occasion and Scott wasn't around, so I asked Austin. And these are the pictures that he took. He did a great job and I think he has a little knack for photography. There were some where Koen's face wasn't even in the picture, but these were the good ones.
This one is my all time favorite. Great job Austin!

I love this one too! I did take this one though. This was when it was all over.
