Week in Review

Well, it's been a very fun-filled week full of sports, exercising, dinners, visiting museums, and emjoying general conference.

One of the first nights we were here, Scott was invited by Cameron to go play on his city league softball team. Even though he doesn't play much softball or baseball, he was very excited to go play. It was fun to watch them both and to see Cameron play in his element. Scott did a great job filling in - the guys were very pleased.

This specific hit was a home run. Great job Cameron!

After only being here one day, my mom and dad came down for a garden show and we were lucky enough to see them. They came and stayed their last night at Cameron's house. It was fun to see them again. It made Austin feel a little bit more at home.
Every morning Cami and I load the kids up in the strollers and go running/walking to one of the local parks. We let the kids play on the soccer field or the playground while we do some different exercises on the field. Cami is my so-called "personal trainer". I call her Cami "Jillian" Kesler.
On Saturday we went to a place called Red Rocks where a guy does a workout session for free. It was amazing. It was very difficult as well. It was so cool to see how many people go there to work out. It is an ampitheater and there are people everywhere. It is really inspiring to watch. The workout was very hard, but we made it through. This is Cami and I after the workout. We did it!

This is a look from the top of the theater and this isn't even a portion of the people that were there.

Saturday afternoon our friends from home called us and we went to lunch. Scott had the day off so we spent most of that day with them. This is at the resteraunt Casa Bonita and these two guys were singing and anniversary song to our friends seeing as they were celebrating their anniversary.
Koen was so entertained the entire time with all the music and the divers. They had little mini shows with divers that would dive in what looked like a pond of water. It was neat.
We were driving in the car and Austin said, "Mom, will you help me up?" I looked back and couldn't see him anywhere. Come to find out, someone had unbuckled his seat belt from the car seat and as we went around a corner, he had fallen on the seat sideways. It was rather comical.
We went to the Colorado Museum and Nature and Science and right when you walk in is this huge T-Rex. Austin was so amazed. It was massive.

Austin enjoyed the wolf statues.

This is our family on the step of the state capital that is one mile above sea level. Very cool! Koen enjoying conference (well as good as he could!)

Lucy (my niece) and her big cheese!

Austin trying to listen to conference!

It has been a very fun week thus far. Thanks to Cameron and Cami for making it so much fun. The kids are loving getting to know eachother a little better, Scott is loving working next to Cameron at the hospital, and I am enjoying (if you can call it that) Cami beating me to death with her workouts. It's great though - we really appreciate the Kesler's and all they are doing for us. Thanks guys! We are loving it here.

You go girls! I wish I had a personal trainer...wait...no I don't. Then I'd actually have to work out. Where did Annie's blog go? I miss it.

Sounds great! Go figure Scott found a sport to occupy his free time. Glad you are enjoying it, just don't enjoy it so much you forget to come home!

We miss you guys already! It was weird not having you at the soccer game last night, and Miles missed having Scott on offense with him. It looks like things are going well. :) Come back soon though!

I think you had way too much fun for only being gone a week. You better make sure you come home soon. Keep "working" hard. :)

Yeah. Looks like it has been non-stop stress and work. I feel so bad for you guys. :) I'm glad you are having fun, just hurry home and you can still have time to help with the bathroom! :)

It looks like you guys are having a blast. How lucky you are to have a free training session. I had a trainer for awhile and was paying $40/hr and that was a deal he gave me. Most people were paying $65/hr.
It is so fun to see your cute family. Hopefully someday soon we will move a lot closer to family.
