Austin's 3!

It's true! Austin is 3 - crazy isn't it? Well, maybe just for me. His birthday was Monday, the 28th, but we celebrated it with both of our families on Sunday, the 27th. Austin was loving celebrating for 2 days. Who gets that? Sunday started off with Scott and I making cake. These are two cars (if you couldn't tell) and the blue one is a police car chasing the green car. Can you tell which one Scott did and which one I did? Just checkin'. :) I only say that because Scott was so proud of his and wanted to see if people could tell who did which one.

Austin was really excited about his car cakes. He wanted to eat them right away - well he he wanted to eat the licorice, m&ms, oreos, etc. etc.

It was a little tricky for his to blow out all three candles at once seeing as they were the antennas of the car and very far apart, but he managed to blow them all out individually.
This gift seemed to be the hit of the party because Austin has slept with it every night since his party. It was a truck given to him by Uncle Bryce and Aunt Keri! Way to go guys! Well done!
This is from Grandma and Grandpa Ulrich. It was a magnetic cars scene. He loves it and will be very handy in sacrament meeting. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! And you can't go wrong with cars either.

Uncle Brady and Aunt Edee got his some swim shorts, a shirt, and a CARS water bottle. Those are super cute - he will for sure be wearing those when we go swimming in Island Park! Thanks so much you guys!
Last summer one of our young men left his razor scooter as our house for quite some time and Austin loved it. He rode it all the time so we decided to get him one of his own. He loved it and tries to act like a big boy and go "really fast".

Austin loves puzzles and the Tanners must have known that. But not only did they get him 4 puzzles, they got him a batman punching bag. He loves it! He brings it into the living room on a daily basis and pretends like batman is getting him! It's hilarious! I think batman wins most of the time! Thanks Ty and Annie - that was very nice!
Grandma and Grandpa Kesler gave him some color wonder (which is also a hit in sacrament meeting) and some sweet sunglasses that he has to wear everytime we get into the car. Great job, Mom and Dad! Thanks so much!
On Monday morning Austin woke up to some balloons and some skittles and was pumped. He is a little bit obsessed with balloons and loves to punch them around. We went to lunch that afternoon at Wingers and got his dinner free for it being his birthday and that night we went to Scott's soccer game. He enjoys watching his dad play soccer. He wants to play soccer just like his dad when he gets bigger.

Happy Birthday Austin! We love you and are so glad you are part of our family!
