Warriors!

Scott has been on Spring Break for the last week and we haven't had a whole lot to do and so he and Austin have been coming up with some pretty crazy activities. A couple of days ago, I was getting ready for the day and I walked out into the living room and found this . . .

Since Austin got finger paints for Easter, they decided they would put it to good use. They first drew all over a posterboard and then decided to draw on themselves. It was hilarious to see what kind of creativity they had. The best was this face . . .

Austin has come up with some pretty good funny faces. This one, we thought, is his best yet. They had a blast and I'm just afraid what Austin is going to do when neither Scott or I aren't around.

Easter Sunday

Here is Koen in his Easter outfit. He looked so cute. I love dressing them up for Easter.

Austin in his Easter outfit with a very fake smile. He was so excited to wear a yellow vest. Yellow is his favorite color.

After church Austin got to get his Easter basket. Scott had early morning meetings. So we waited until after church so that Scott could be there. His favorite part was shaking the eggs and opening them, finding treats inside.

Not only did he get candy, but he got a couple of Mickey Mouse books and finger paints. He is a little bit obsessed with Mickey Mouse, so these items were a hit for him.

Sunday was a great day to reflect on the resurrection and atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made for us. Scott had to speak in sacrament meeting and he did an excellent job. It was a very great day!

Easter Fun

The day before Easter, we spent the day at the Ulrichs doing many different festivities. Easter Egg Hunt was definitely one of them. The kids had a great time looking for eggs (even though it lasted all but 2 seconds).

Austin was so excited that he was having a hard time finding them and they were all in the grass. It was funny to watch his excitement.

Super Fan

Because I was a superfan at all the intramural basketball games, they gave me a shirt too. You can say I was just as pumped as the boys were. It was a lot of fun to go and watch them play! Don't worry I didn't have the pom-pom. Scott just made me hold it for the picture.

Two Years Running!!!

For the second year in a row, Scott's intramural basketball team won the championship. Some of the guys in the PA program put this team together and they played some great ball. They were all very excited about the T-shirts, especially Scott because he's always looking for free t-shirts. It makes you wonder if they were more excited about the shirts than the title. Great job guys! You definitely deserve the title!

Ulrich Update

Well, I am finally able to put a post on the blog now. Our family has been busy with Scott in school and me trying to keep up with the boys, the house, etc. etc. Scott is enjoying PA school. He is in his 2nd semester of his first year and finds it to be kind of challenging and time consuming. Every day he comes home and has tons of reading to do for the next day, so he ends up hibernating in the bedroom so there aren't any distractions. On occasion Austin will take some books in there and sit on the bed with Scott and pretend he is studying too. Scott is also the Young Men's President in our ward and does an excellent job. The boys love him and have so much fun with him. Scott is doing great though and is doing a great job keeping up with everything.

I am keeping myself pretty busy as well with the boys and all. I am serving as the Young Women's 1st Counselor in our ward and I love it. I have been in there for a little over 2 years now and am having a blast. Since Scott and I both have to go to mutual, we just take the boys with us and the youth love that. Austin knows all of their names and loves to be able to recognize them at church.
Austin is 2 and is growing and learning so much. He loves to learn new things and enjoys playing ball with his dad. He is so "go - go - go" that it's hard for me to keep up. He is a great big brother to Koen and loves him so much (a little too much sometimes.) He loves to spend time with his cousins (which we do quite frequently) and loves to read books. He has got to the point now that he will go get a book and make up his own story pertaining to the pictures. It's really cute. Half the time though, he is saying, "Mom said, 'No, No, No'. I guess he hears that too much from his own mom. He is a lot of fun!

Koen is doing well and growing really fast. He is now 3 months old and is such a joy and a good baby! He is struggling with RSV right now, but he hasn't had to go to the hospital. He is actually really happy for how much he struggles with his nose and his cough. He has been figthing it for a month now and hopefully will return to regular health. He is smiling like crazy and just really happy (as long as he gets his sleep and his food). But life is good and we are enjoying it!
